First selection list of students from schools for participation in the DST Summer Science Camp to be held in SMVD University, Katra during June 25-29, 2010 with detailed information can be downloaded here.

Please note the following important points:

  1. Students have to arrive on our campus on 24.06.2010 [4.30 pm Sharp] evening for registration and briefing. Students who fail to report for briefing shall not be allowed to participate in the campus. Students shall then stay on our campus for the entire duration of the camp and they wont be allowed to shuttle during the Camp.

  2. There is no registration fee for attending the camp.

  3. Boys and girls will be accommodated in Boy's and Girl's hostels respectively.

  4. Each student will be provided a suitable accommodation with complete set of bedding however students are advised to bring on bed-sheet along-with them.

  5. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea/snacks will be provided for the camp period free of cost.

  6. Staying in the SMVDU Campus for the accompanying teacher/ guardian is not allowed. They may drop their students/wards on 24th and pick them up on 29th.

  7. Ttransport arrangements have been made for the students belonging to District Jammu. All such students are required to report at Saraswati Dham, Rain Head Complex on 24.06.2010 at 2.30 pm sharp failing which they wont be allowed to participate in the Camp. Students (Jammu District only) who do not use our transport facility wont be eligible to for TA reimbursement as we are providing the said facility free of cost. Reimbursement of TA shall be made strictly as per the fare chart of J&K State Road Transport Corporation.

  8. To avail our transport facility students have to put in a request for the same via email or SMS. Students of other districts who wish to avail this facility from Jammu to campus are also required to register for transport via email or sms.

  9. Teachers/ Guardians [not more than one per group] are welcome to attend the Inauguration, Valedictory sessions only.

  10. All the students are required to carry 2 coloured pp size photographs and their school ID card with them. Entry shall be strictly on the basis of this proof. Students coming without ID of school shall be sent back.

  11. Please bring along your school identity card and two passport size photographs. identity card is compulsory. Students are also required to bring a permission letter duly signed by the parents permitting the students to take part in the camp.
